This wine is a testament to the potential of one of Spain’s lesser-known regions and is made at Hacienda Unamuno, a modern winery in Arribes del Duero. Aged in cool ancient wine cellars at Hacienda Zorita (an estate where Colombus resided before sailing for the Americas, now a luxury wine hotel).
