United Wineries will participate in the Spanish Food and Wine Fair in Seoul, South Korea from the 11th to 12th November.
The market-leading owner of some of Spain’s most sought after wine brands will be showing a range of its top quality wines from Marqués de la Concordia, Durius, Mas de Monistrol and one of the world’s leading Cava brands, Marqués de Monistrol.
All the wines on show have won plaudits, medals and awards from highly respected global wine competitions. For example, the highly rated Durius Magister and Durius Natural Reserve Syrah both won Silver Best in Class from the International Wine & Spirit Competition 2009.
Sylwia Haczkiewicz, Business Development Manager for the Asian region will be on hand to pour wines and meet the buyers from distributors, HoReCa and off trade and expects turnout to be high. “The Korean market has seen good growth and this fair provides the ideal opportunity to further develop long-standing and mutually beneficial relationships with a wide cross-section of the Korean wine trade. The investment in attending the show should prove well worth it, despite the difficult conditions in the global economy.”
In further news, the Durius Natural Reserve Syrah has been selected by one of Korea’s leading journalists for the pre-event banquet to accompany a range of Asian food and demonstrate how Spanish wines are able to accompany the diverse dishes of the Orient.
